Fayon Troupe to add boys’ wear in June

Relatively a new entrant in the Indian apparel retail industry, girls’ wear brand Fayon Troupe, is looking forward to a promising journey. With a production capacity of 2,000 pieces it aims to cross Rs 6 crore turnover in the next two years. Kamlesh K Nanda, Director of Fayon

Troupe is optimistic about the Spring/Summer season ahead. “In Fayon Troupe’s S/S ’14 collection, we have kept a keen eye on designs, product styling and colours. The collection is reasonably priced. With positive factors, I feel the bookings and sales in the summer season will be promising,” he says.


Besides

establishing its retail presence, the company also plans to diversify its product range to offer a collection for boys.

Boys’ wear in the long run

Just eleven months into the market, Fayon Troupe is already on a mission to expand its product offerings to include a collection for boys. “We are planning to enter in the boy’s wear market Fayon Troupe- Boys by June 2014,” avers Nanda.

For now, the brand has a product range for girls, consisting of gowns, dungarees, hot shorts, frocks, jackets and jump suits. The line for 1 to 8 years is playful and bubbly, whereas the line for 10 to 16 is more mature reflecting the changes in a girl’s psyche.

Elaborating on the new range for S/S ’14, Nanada says, “Fayon Troupe has lot of collection which is in cottons and denims, chiffons and georgette. A lot of dungrees, wrappers and classic denims are available for summer.”

Establishing retail presence

Fayon Troupe has a retail presence in south and north India and the company aims to explore the east and west markets through agents and distributors.

The name Fayon Troupe means style gang. This reflects the way children are today, a five-year-old can demand what he or she wants. “Today’s children know about fashion something which earlier generations didn’t. The brand is precisely for those children. It’s for children who know who they are,” opines Nanda.
