Uniqlo Japan same-store sales drop 2.7 percent

May 2018 same-store sales including online sales decreased by 2.7 percent year on year at Uniqlo Japan, a part of Fast Retailing Group. Sales at the company-owned stores decreased by 5.3 percent, while total sales including online sales decreased by 2.5 percent.

The company said in a statement that same store sales dipped year on year in May with the large number of cool days in the month slightly weakening demand for summer goods.
