New Utility

Trendstop's Trend of 2016, New Utility, explored the concept of dressed-up practicality as fashion meets function on a contemporary level. Hardware accessories maintain a matted, worn quality to express this functional aesthetic. Ribbed panelling and dark-wash denim boiler suits showcase how fashion silhouettes can be adapt to express this utilitarian mood with a focus on military detailing.

70's Gentlewoman

The 70's Gentlewoman forecast theme developed the Modern Seventies aesthetic with menswear inspired fits in autumnal tones. Boyswear features multi-surfaces textured knits in chevron inspired patterns. Women's accessories are simple and sleek with 70's inspired details. The warm, nostalgic palette features saturated tan shades and rich ochre hues.

Quiet Comfort

Luxury lounging is explored within the Quiet Comfort theme, as silhouettes lose their shape and adopt voluminous proportions with minimal detailing. Shapes are basic, with minimal detail such as frilling and wrapping to evoke movement the dense fabrications. Footwear maintains this minimal appeal, with cocooning pumps in neutral tones.
