Furla has confirmed that it will present its women’s and men’s collection in a co-ed event starting from the spring/summer 2019 collection.

It stated in a short release that the Furla men’s collection would be shown in September 2018 during the women’s fashion week event in Milan.

Furla Group chief executive, Alberto Camerlengo, said in a statement: “Presenting the men’s and women’s collections at the same time is a choice that fits seamlessly with the brand’s strategy.

“It is a contemporary approach, that emphasises the stylistic harmony between the two worlds and coherently conveys, even more powerfully, the Furla lifestyle concept.”

The move comes as Haider Ackermann announced that he would present his first dual catwalk show during Paris Fashion Week in September for spring/summer 2019, joining other designers in the co-ed movement including Emporio Armani, Gucci, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Givenchy and J.W. Anderson.
