This week, Trendstop's trend experts show you how to get ahead for next season with an array of inspiring print trends fresh from the Spring/Summer 2015 catwalks. Pop Tropics and Soft Marbling are two out of the 40 progressive print directions identified by our print team in the Trendstop Print & Pattern on the Catwalks S/S15 Report, updating womenswear designs with bold graphics or elegant patterns for a directional fashion-forward appeal.

Pop Tropics

A key look emerging in Milan, this summery trend sees tropical prints executed with bright colours for a playful statement. Exotic birds are applied in sparkling graphic placements on tops, as oversized hibiscus blooms are distorted with stripes. Elsewhere, we see vivid abstract takes on water-dwelling plants.

Soft Marbling

Over in London, this elegant print story transforms marbled patterns with softened effects and pale colourways, creating styles with a feminine appeal. On show in shades like sugar pink, banana milk and duck egg blue, womenswear looks effortlessly chic with curvilinear shapes and milky repeats.
