LimeRoad, the social commerce platform has announced its contribution towards promoting PM Narendra Modi’s pet project ‘Make in India campaign’. The company has launched a unique platform for Indian manufacturers and artisans under the LimeRoad #ShopByCity umbrella for the cause.

The ‘Make in India’ is designed to facilitate investment, foster innovation, enhance skill development and build best-in-class infrastructure, LimeRoad’s #ShopByCity initiative will promote home grown artisans, weavers and all such vendors by providing them market exposure by displaying local products. The LimeRoad #ShopByCity umbrella will bring together a carefully curated and refined assortment of ‘Made in India’ products on the platform.

The platform had earlier hosted summer internship program for designers as well as ‘Create & Earn’ initiative to enable their unique and rapidly growing community of Scrapbookers to earn from the looks they create. LimeRoad.com’s innovative scrapbook application allows people to select from a range of gorgeous products, create a unique look and share it with their friends.
