Acclaimed Indian fashion designer Ritu Kumar has been featured in the Harvard Business School's (HBS) programme that makes the students study and understand trends in emerging markets from the viewpoints of successful business leaders across various industries. As a part of an ongoing initiative at HBS, the institute selected leading business leaders who have successfully created and managed businesses in countries like Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America over the last four decades to offer insights into their journey and strategies.

The school conducted interviews of these leaders, letting them to shed light on the important milestones in the process of corporate transition, while managing to survive the economic and political crisis showing how businesses navigate such emergencies and can create value for their societies.

The interview transcripts and supporting resources provide a fresh and important perspectives on business, management and entrepreneurship in the emerging markets.
