Campus Shoes ties up with retail chains to spread out

Delhi-based footwear brand Campus shoes is expanding its retail footprint. Its tying up with retailers Shoppers Stop, Avenue Supermart, Metro and Reliance Footwear to spread out. While Vishal Mega Mart outlets in Tier II and III cities will sell Campus shoes from August 2017 onwards, by September 2017, others too will start retailing the brand's merchandise.

With e-commerce is gaining momentum, physical retail chains will continue to grow, given the advantages they offer. In the footwear industry, where look and feel is a critical buying factor and people prefer to try out products before purchasing, it is important to focus on expanding the retail chain.

Campus shoes is looking to widen its customer base by build brand and increasing product exposure and sales. The range will vary at different outlets depending on the price point and demand pattern. Once higher range of products are launched, the company will target the Tier I cities and metros through these retail outlets, Agarwal informs.
