Desigual shop-in-shop opens at Shoppers Stop

Shoppers Stop has partnered with the Spanish brand Desigual to open its shop-in-shop in India. The debut store was launched at the Shoppers Stop store in Juhu in the presence of Anna Carbonell-Desigual Brand Head, Asia Pacific and Salil Nair, Customer Care Associate & CEO, Shoppers Stop.

The event also saw a fashion show with models showcasing the Desigual designs. To mark the celebration of Desigual’s first shop-in-shop format in the country, a dance troupe also presented a Spanish dance form Flamenco as well as Indian classical dance.

Established in 1984 by Thomas Meyer, Spanish brand Desigual is a popular casual clothing brand characterised by its patchwork designs, intense prints, innovative graffiti art and flamboyant splashes of colour. The brand offers men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, accessories and shoes. It is present in over 100 countries across the world through 400 stores, 2,500 corners in department stores and 11,000 multi brand stores.

In 2003, leading e-commerce fashion platform Jabong.com first introduced Desigual range in India.
