Shoppers in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia will now be able to buy products from eBay sellers from all over the world, thanks to a partnership between Middle Eastern online retailer noon.com and the American e-commerce giant. eBay has agreed to list popular items on Noon.com’s website and mobile app, and the two companies will collaborate in the shipping and delivery of eBay’s products.
”With this, we are offering our customers access to products that are not otherwise readily available in the region”, said Mohamed Alabbar, founder of noon.com, in a statement. “Our partnership with eBay opens a whole new world of shopping experience”.
eBay products will be available at noon.com in the second semester of 2018. Clients that are not satisfied with their eBay purchases will be able to return them to noon.com and receive a full refund.
The two companies also announced they intend to explore joint opportunities in marketing, know-how and best practices in the region. However, they haven’t shared any further details about these plans.
