Iconic British retailer, Marks & Spencer (M&S), has opened two new stores in Hyderabad expanding its presence in South India. The two stores were opened after the launch of their flagship at Jubilee Hills earlier this year.

The two new stores have been designed to offer an international shopping experience, showcasing the company's stylish winter collections. Spread across two floors covering over 22,000 sq. ft. area, the new store at the Forum Sujana Mall, Kukatpally offers an extensive range across menswear, womenswear, kidswear, lingerie, and skincare products from its beauty catalogue. The other store at GVK One mall, spread over 7,600 square feet has on offer a wide range of menswear and womenswear products.

Marks & Spencer had opened its first store in India in 2001 and in April 2008, company signed a joint venture with Reliance Retail to form Marks & Spencer Reliance India. M&S now has 45 stores in the country. With an aim to be the most sustainable retailers across the world, the company wants to take its learnings from India to replicate it in other global markets. In India, the focus would be on turning all its outlets in the country on the lines of its Delhi store which is already a holder of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) gold standard and the Bangalore store that has a silver standard developed by US Green Building Council.
