Reliance Brands signs up Amsterdam-based Scotch & Soda

Reliance Brands, a part of Reliance Industries Group has teamed up with Amsterdam-based fashion brand Scotch & Soda. As a part of the agreement, Reliance Brands will set up Scotch & Soda stores in all major cities across India by next year. Through this partnership, Reliance Brands will offer Scotch & Soda products across menswear, women’s wear and children’s wear categories through all channels of sale. Moreover, Reliance will grow the brand through other channels of sale in India such as e-commerce, travel commerce and leading multi-brand department stores. Till now the Dutch apparel brand was being sold exclusively on Myntra.com. And as per Darshan Mehta, President & CEO, Reliance Brands, Myntra will continue to be one of the retail channels for them as they will continue to sell through Myntra. But Reilance now has the exclusive master franchise partner for Scotch & Soda across all channels in India.

The newly-formed partnership will leverage Reliance Brands' in-depth expertise of the premium retail market in India coupled with Scotch & Soda's global expansion drive. Currently, Scotch & Soda has over 160 stores globally, and can be found in over 8,000 outlets including the top global department-stores and independent worldwide and in the brand's webstore.

Reliance Brand's portfolio include partnerships with Brooks Bros, DC, Diesel, Dune, Ermenegildo Zegna, Gas, Hamleys, Quicksilver, Steve Madden, Kenneth Cole among others.
