Snapdeal to retail designs from Bangalore Fashion Week

Shoppers can now buy designer clothing straight off the ramp of Bangalore Fashion Week (BFW). Snapdeal has partnered with the fashion week, to bring designs from the 12th edition of BFW on its platform.

The fashion event, scheduled from January 22 to January 25, is based on the theme of 'Summer Online 2015'. It will see both renowned and upcoming designers showcasing their exclusive lines for online sales. The participating designers will showcase their collections through Snapdeal's online initiative 'The Designer Studio'.

The online portal will also present an exclusive collection of saris at a special fashion show -- 'Versatile 6 Yards', which will see participation from popular socialites and leading models. The event will also be streamed live on the website through a live event blog accessible on the portal.

Over the last eleven successful editions Bangalore Fashion Week has become a strong global fashion platform for designers from across the world to present their lines. BFW has showcased over 250 designers including JJ Valaya, Ritu Beri, Ritu Kumar, Arjun Khanna, Rina Dhaka, Nikki Mahajan, Manoviraj Khosla, Narendra Kumar, etc. and International Designers like Richi Rich (USA), Claudi Antonini (Italy), Shelia Gupta (UAE), Bozena Carter (UK), Pam & Arch (UK), Daniel Hecter (France) and Mustaffa Hassan Ali (Africa), among others.
