Hindus outraged with Lord Ganesha socks

Hindus are outraged with Philadelphia-based firm Urban Outfitters for socks carrying Lord Ganesh at the trim

The socks with Hindu deity has been found objectionable by devotees following Hinduism. Lord Ganesh is considered to be the god of wisdom and remover of obstacles and is invoked before the beginning of any major undertaking.

Zed, President of Universal Society of Hinduism, has urged Richard A Hayne and Tedford Marlow, President of Urban Outfitters and Chief Executive Officer of Urban Outfitters Group respectively to offer an apology.
