Tommy plans big on accessories

Premium fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger has opened an Accessory Store at Select City Walk, Delhi.

This is the eighth outlet in the new chain introduced by Tommy Hilfiger. The 300 sq. ft. showroom offers a wide range of Tommy Hilfiger accessories like eyewear, watches, pens, innerwear, footwear, wallets, belts, travel gear and fragrances. At the launch, Rahul Gambhir, Director, Licensing, Tommy Hilfiger, said, the Accessory Store Chain has been launched to showcase the entire range of Tommy Hilfiger Accessories which has become very popular with Indian consumers. Started in December 2010, this format has found ready acceptance and they now plan to open over 50 stores by end of this year.

The brand is present with this format in Chandigarh, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bhopal and Raipur. Since the response from all cities is very encouraging they now plan to add many more Tier I, II cities. Tommy Hilfiger was brought to India by Arvind Murjani Brands, a joint venture between Murjani Group and Arvind Mills, in 2004
