This week from Monday April 26 to Friday April 30, private art school group IED, known for its fashion programs, is hosting its ‘Network Open Days’.
The event takes place digitally in line with the International Day of Design, celebrated this week, and includes 30 free workshops for future IED students, design enthusiasts and fashion professionals. The focus is on the ‘learning by doing’ method and allows guests to discover the academic Undergraduate and Master’s programs of IED’s schools in Italy and Spain in the areas of Fashion Design, Visual Arts, Communication and Art and Restoration.
Guests have access to digital workshops in which they can interact with teachers and ex-students from every IED school. For fashion students interested in attending one of IED’s schools in Spain, the course Ilustración de moda: del papel a la pasarela (‘Fashion Illustration: from paper to runway’) stands out.
Friday, April 30, IED focuses on its Master’s programs. Attendees can participate in workshops centered around constructing one’s own professional identity and entering the job market.
Yesterday, April 27, during the International Day of Design, teachers and former students shared their knowledge, experiences and reflections about design, a key tool for tackling the challenges that surely await students and professionals in post-pandemic society.
