Southern California-based global lifestyle brand Ugg has joined The Valuable 500, a global movement putting disability at the forefront of the leadership agenda.

Ugg is aiming to support and amplify the voices of people with disabilities in everything it does from its process to products.

Andrea O’Donnell, president of Ugg, said in a release: “We must do our part in ensuring the world is a more inclusive place for those with disabilities.

“By partnering with The Valuable 500, we are making a promise and putting disability inclusion as a fundamental focus.”

The brand has committed to several focuses around disability inclusivity such as accessibility on their website and social media, mindful design by hosting innovation workshops, and continued collaboration with accessibility advocates.

Ugg joins hundreds of brands in the movement, with American online retailer Zappos also joining The Valuable 500 last month.
