Kingpins Show, started in 2004, is the only jeans supply chain

trade show that holds its events in New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Its first show in India will be in April 2011 in Bangalore. The Kingpins Show in India will also cover emerging denim markets like Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The show would invite about 20 top denim companies from South Asia to participate and display their latest collections to discerning buyers who would be invited to attend the show. This event brand has been making waves in the elite denim industry with its unique boutique and sold out shows. Denim professionals in the US, Europe, Japan and China have come to love The Kingpins Show primarily because of its unique concept where only top of the line companies, usually ranging between 20 and 25, in the denim supply chain - denim mills, denim garment makers, laundries etc, are invited to exhibit their products and new collections . The entry is by invitation only, of course.

Olah Inc is the mastermind behind the global Kingpins Show. A company which has been working in the textile industry since 1959, focusing on denim and jeans since the 70’s, Olah Inc started its denim thrust working for the Italy-based Legler, the first denim mill in Europe, in 1978. It continues to develop and market products from reputed denim masters like Kurabo Industries in Japan.

Andre Olah, the founder of The Kingpins Show stated that the Indian show would have approximately 20 to 25 exhibitors only. The Kingpins Show which has recently been sponsored by Invista globally is in talks with the sponsor regarding the show in Bangalore. The companies invited to exhibit at The Kingpins Show in India will include about 13 to14 factories from India and about three each from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. This mix will include denim mills, denim garment manufacturers and an assortment of accessory suppliers to the denim supply chain.
