ColorPlus, the brand from textile and apparel conglomerate Raymond, has introduced new trouser styles for Spring/Summer 2014 season. Going forward, it plans to continue offering new styles and innovations every season. Meanwhile it also wants to explore untapped markets while strengthening

its online presence. ColorPlus is a complete lifestyle brand offering clothing solutions for every occasion -- be it at work, leisure or other special moments.

“Our distribution channel is spread all over the country and beyond borders in the Middle East. It continues to grow each year with now over 350 shopping destinations across the country,” explains Hetal Kotak, Brand Director, Raymond Apparel.

A
wide range of trousers for Spring/Summer

For Spring/Summer ’14 the brand has launched 22 new products in its trouser range. They have different treatments, weaves, style, fit and finishes. “To name a few that have stood out in the entire collection are: Debonair Twill, Ceasar Sheen, Timber Treat, Magic Meadows, Summer Soltice and Sandy Breeze. At ColorPlus we keep introducing new categories, new products, new fits, fabrics and washes each season. We will continue this tradition and keep bringing something new to the customers every season,” explains Kotak.

Offering high quality fabrics and product engineering techniques the brand is known for its sophisticated looks. “To ensure that customers get the best product from us, we have pioneered techniques like Golf Ball Wash, Come Dyed Casuals and Thermo-fused buttoning to name a few. These innovations have taken our collection to a whole new level, making it synonymous with the words luxury and style,” avers Kotak.

ColorPlus offers all styles from casual trousers in plain and pleats options to non-denim soft jeans to cargos. The portfolio consists of work or smart casuals like shirts, trousers, T-shirts, jackets, winter wear and a range of accessories. The brand is a pioneer in introducing cotton trousers with wrinkle resistant finish in the Indian market and these contribute approximately 45 percent of the total trousers’ sales.

Spreading retail network

ColorPlus is present at over 90 exclusive stores across 37 Indian cities. It has two stores in the overseas market along with around 450 touch points through a network of MBOs and large format stores. “We are looking at expanding our presence across all channels in existing as well as new markets. We will go to the markets which respond well to premium brands,” says Kotak, adding, “The online trend is catching up in apparels. So far the market has been focused on promotions and discounts to attract consumers. We have been amongst the first brands to sell online on our website. We have dedicated customers who buy online regularly. In the future we will build on this success and expand our online presence.”

Launched in 1993, ColorPlus created a niche in the ready-to-wear market in India with its premium range of men’s clothing. With a focus on innovation and unique use of colours it has today come a long way since its inception.
