Following a steadily positive response across India, the brand plans to roll out 10 exclusive retail outlets by this year. It has already signed up properties in locations like Amritsar and Ludhiana, which will be opened by August. LQ is available in large format stores like Shoppers Stop, My Way, Central, Planet Fashion, Lulu Hypermarket. Apart from metros, the brand is also looking at Tier II and III markets. The approach to structured growth will be a mix of both company-owned and franchise stores. It seeks to partner energetic entrepreneurs for its franchise extension. “Contrary to beliefs, Tier II, III cities have great potential as people residing in these cities are equally fashion conscious and has deep pockets but the avenue of organized modern retail is limited. Hence, it is significantly an untapped market. After opening our store in a conservative market like Lucknow, we have got phenomenal response which has prompted us to reach out to these cities” adds Kohli. Apart from its offline expansion, the brand has also been proactive online as it has already tied up with leading portals like Flipkart and Myntra.

New Styles for the Season

Promising to offer exclusive and innovative design each season, the brand has recently launched a new collection of casual wear stylized with laces, sequences, glitters, hoodies, jackets, woven items and shrugs. “Latin Quarters believes in bringing in more innovation every season. In a country like India it is important to understand consumer behaviour while creating a new collection. As a brand, we have a clear insight into what women want across cities like Chennai, Mumbai or Kolkata. Being in the business, we are able to understand which design will be accepted where. Our basic philosophy is to provide quality with variety in design,” says Kohli.
