ASFT invites industry experts to guide new students

Amity School of Fashion Technology (ASFT) organized an industry interaction to welcome the students of 2014 batch. As

part of this, a galaxy of industry speakers from reputed fashion retail organizations, brand companies, apparel export organizations as well as fashion communication and fashion designing gathered at the university to address the new batch of students on ‘Expectations of the Fashion Industry from Young Professionals.’

The speakers included Anil Kumar, Business Manager, Lifestyle International; Astha Behl, Fashion Designer, Shradha Designs; Deepak Chakravarty, VM Head, Adidas India Marketing; Niket Mishra, Fashion Designer; Rajeev Bansal, MD, Celestial Knits & Fabs; Rajiv Mishra, GM-Sales & Marketing, Artizen Decor; Salil Chawla, Director Marketing (Inside Fashion), DFU Publications and Sarang Shrawat, Retail Manager, Puma Sports India.

Pradeep Joshi, Director, ASFT, ASFA & ASPA welcomed the speakers and requested them to share their experiences with the students. He also emphasized the need for greater industry-academic partnership thereby seeking continuous support and guidance from industry.
