50th IIGF to kick-start from Jan 22

A unique fair that brings together the best in Indian apparels,

accessories, fabrics, home furnishings and made-ups, Indian handicrafts, wool and woolen products, jute and carpets – all under one roof , the 50th edition of IIGF will be held from January 22 to 24, 2013.

A blend of the traditional and modern, the fair organised by Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC), will be the biggest ever event on Indian textiles featuring over 400 exhibitors and 2,000 global buyers. They will be displaying a diverse range of products from the entire length and breadth of the country. IIGF aims to provide the biggest platform in Asia to the exporters and the buyers. The event will showcase India’s huge potential as an exporting country and offer a great variety for its global buyers.

A Sakthivel Chairman AEPC says, “We are very hopeful that the 50th IIGF will serve as a much needed platform and an opportunity for a large number of exhibitors and buyers from across the globe to interact under one roof. Response to the earlier IIGF had been commendable and this time too it will definitely provide the much needed fillip to the Indian textile industry.”
