85 Lansdowne re-launched in Kolkata

Multi-designer wear boutique, 85 Lansdowne, was recently re-launched in Kolkata after a complete makeover.

Originally unveiled in 2007, 85 Lansdowne is the brainchild of Shalini Nopany and Pooja Goenka and is promoted by New India Retailing.

Offering trendy fashion wear, the newly done up boutique caters to fashionistas seeking luxurious fresh fashion. The 5,000 square feet store is split into two levels, ground and the first with ten rooms in all. There is a drawing room, a bedroom, a breakfast room, a boudoir, the verandah and even a walk-in closet. Every fashion designer having their collection at the store gets his or her own individual racks or assigned spaces.

The subtle look has been maintained through stark white walls and curtains along with a few walls in bluish-grey that bring out the colours of the garments beautifully. Checkered black and white marble flooring for the common areas and wooden flooring for the rooms, besides the original staircase railings and panelled wall give the old-bungalow look to the store. The new store having a wide range of ensembles, jewellery and accessories on offer caters to shoppers from all over India, Bangladesh and South East Asia.
