UK-based kidswear brand Adams Kids plans to snap its franchisee agreement with Bahrain’s

Jawad International Fashion and has shortlisted three local retailers for a partnership. The partnership could also take the form of a joint venture. Government norms permit foreign investment up to 51 per cent in single brand retail firms. Jawad is an established retailer in the Middle East and had started retailing Adams Kids in India in 2007 through the franchisee route. They had committed to open about 50 stores in the country as a part of its expansion plan.
