AEMA’s ‘Retail Source India’ to be held in New Delhi

Garment show Retail Source India will be held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from July 19 to 21, 2014. The show is being
organised by Apparel Exporters & Manufacturers Association (AEMA). The aim behind organizing this show is to utilise the growing potential of Indian domestic market. The show will be inaugurated by Textile Minister Santosh Gangwar along with Zohra Chatterji, Secretary, Textiles and Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI.Manufacturers from Delhi, NCR, UP, Haryana, Mumbai, Kolkata, Ludhiana and many other places are expected to display their latest innovative range of garments for the domestic market. Brands and retailers like Shoppers Stop, Pantaloon, Wills Lifestyle, Ritu Wear, Bharti Retail, Bindals, Reliance Trends and E-commerce companies such as Jabong, Flipkart, Myntra, Snapdeal, Zovi, Amazon and others will be visiting the event to source their requirements.
Distributors and agents from all over India will also visit the show and make new contacts and business associations. According to experts, the growing middle class is an important factor contributing to the growth of retail in India and by 2030, it is estimated that 91 million households will be 'middle class', up from 21 million today.
