AEPC to organize mega apparel and textile show in Tokyo

Apparel Export Promotion council (AEPC) will once again be

participating in International Fashion Fair, Tokyo scheduled from July 17-19 2013 ,along with SRTEPC, TEXPROCIL and WOOLTEXPRO and other EPCs as organizing partners under the aegis of Ministry of Textiles. Over 25,000 trade visitors attended the IFF show last year in July, 2012.

On the basis of recommendations of the Ministry of Textiles, Ministry of Commerce has approved funding under Market Access Initiative for the mega apparel & textile show in Tokyo. MAI support is for 160 booths in the fair. For proper showcasing of textile sector, cotton fabric and made-ups segment will have 30 booths, synthetic fabrics: 30 booths, wood and other products: 30 booths and readymade garments: 70 booths.

The show is being organized under the MAI Assistance Scheme of Ministry of Commerce. Exporters registered with AEPC, TEXPROCIL, SRTEPC AND WOOLTEXPRO and other textile EPCs can apply for participation in the apparel show. Members of AEPC can apply directly to be a part of this event.
