American sports and youth lifestyle brand Airwalk
will make its India debut later this year. This is due to a marketing agreement between Wiesner Worldwide Kreations (WWK) and Collective Licensing International (CLI), the company that owns and manages the label. WWK, the Indian arm of Wiesner Products Inc, will hold the licence for Airwalk across youth categories, including kid’s footwear, apparel and general merchandise. Airwalk is eyeing to fill the gap in the youth segment by spreading its wings across the north, south and east zones of India through distributors and retailers.WWK has targeted distribution to more than 35 national and regional format stores across various product categories. According to CLI President and CEO Bruce Pettet, Wiesner’s talented design and development teams and their extensive experience in the industry make them the ideal partner for the Airwalk brand in India.
Established in 1986, Airwalk is among the leading board sports and youth lifestyle brands in the world. It has a global network of 50 strategic brand partners, reaching more than 100 countries around the world.
