Aki Narula, the costume director of Bollywood blockbusters like Dostana and Bachna Ae

Haseeno has become the first Indian designer to create Black Label, a range of urban and versatile apparel, footwear and accessories for sports lifestyle brand Puma. International heavyweights like Alexander McQueen, Yasuhiro Mihara and Sergio Rossi are some of the other designers to have created designs for Puma. Aki Narula’s designs are slated to hit stores this month.
The multi-functional collection will include Narula’s signature style of mix-and-match pieces. According to Aki Narula his deliberate decision to stay away from mainstream fashion including fashion weeks got him the chance to do film work. But he intends to re-launch his label and has plans to showcase his designs in one of the fashion weeks and two Bollywood movies next year.
Puma is engaged in the development and marketing of a broad range of sports and lifestyle goods including footwear, apparel and accessories. Its mission is to become the most desirable sports lifestyle company.
