Allen Solly’s launches cool A/W collection

Allen Solly has come up with its autumn/winter ’10

collection. The brand is offering a wide selection of colors and patterns this season. The casual diffusion line is a collection of everyday pieces. Women’s straddles outerwear, evening, and fashion formals are available with a casual flavor. Dresses and tops are in bright red, flame scarlet, cherry plum, yellow, navy, white and black on graphic tees, jeans, jackets, sweaters, capris, skirts, jeggings, dresses, shirts, trousers and suits. The fits are slimmer and give a young lean look. Formal shirts and trousers are light weight, wrinkle-free with yarn-dyed patterns. Also in the range are cool cufflinks and watches.

The brand launched in 1993 in India has created a niche by introducing a line of vibrantly colored Allen Solly semi formals. Later, they introduced un-crushables, India’s first wrinkle-free brand of men’s trousers. Originating from the large portfolio of international brands of Coats Viyella – UK, Allen Solly transformed the corporate dress code, junked whites and greys and brought in relaxed formal wear to India with bold and bright colors, concepts and patterns. It redefined the concept of office wear with colored shirts and khaki trousers. The brand further reinforced its cult status with the launch of wrinkle-free cottons and checked formal shirts.
