Amit GT to launch 10 stores in India

After dressing over 30 Hollywood celebs like Eva Longoria, Toni Braxton, Rachel Weisz and many

members of the royal families of Europe and Middle East and top socialites around the world, designer label Amit GT is all set to expand its presence in India. The company plans to open 10 stores in the country through company owned and franchise arrangements.

The luxury brand is known internationally for its exquisite evening wear, apart from tops, jackets and dresses for women. Company has two labels under its fold, namely Amit GT which is an aspirational luxury brand and AGT by Amit GT which is an affordable luxury line.

Currently, it has one AGT store at the Crescent at The Qutab Mall, New Delhi. The company has spread its wings to destinations line Europe, Asia and USA and has offices in Europe and India. Though designer Amit GT started his ground work in India, he first established his mark on the international retail map through his flagship stores to garner the right kind of exposure. According to him, since it takes time to build the right image internationally, he decided to venture into the US and European markets first.
