Aneeth, Kallol to showcase at Berlin show

Indian designers have been making their presence felt on the

global fashion map. Two more designers Aneeth Arora and Kallol Datta have been selected by Lakme India fashion Week advisory board to represent and further the Indian legacy at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Autumn/Winter Berlin to be held in January 2012. Aneeth and Kallol were selected from a shortlisted group of designers by the LFW advisory board. The duo had presented a show at Berlin Calling at LFW Winter/Festive 2011.

The initiative is supported by IMG Reliance and IMG’s International Fashion teams, who will mentor these designers and offer guidance on creating their collections, pricing, marketing, and all other aspects of design that will help them maximize this opportunity.

Lakmé Fashion Week is known to take the Indian talent on international fashion platforms. Representing India at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Berlin would add another feather to its initiatives since it is truly an international fashion week, showcasing designers from across Europe and the world. The Berlin Calling show is scheduled for January 21, 2012 at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Berlin–Autumn/Winter 2012.
