Anjali Khushalani’s brand boutique launched Dubai

Anjali Khushalani, one of UAE’s premier independent

fashion designers has recently launched her first standalone boutique in Jumeirah, Dubai. The ‘Anjali K Couture’ boutique enthrals its customers with stunning creations for women and eclectic Indian designs. On offer are: dazzling anarkalis, meticulously designed lehengas and saris in rich fabrics such as velvet, net, lace and silk.

The bespoke collection draws inspiration from Mughal styles and pays special attention to intricate embroidery, opulent fabrics and creative silhouettes. ‘Anjali K Couture’s first line ‘Noor Jahan’ is designed for the contemporary Indian woman, from everyday wear to bridal wear, the collection is glamorous, sophisticated, and internationally appealing yet retaining its Indian charm. The designs are an eclectic mix of Indian culture and contemporary fashion, and are embellished with gold work, gota work and zardosi. The collection also features floor sweeping silhouettes, jewelled necklines and intricate hand embroidery.

Khushalani graduated with a degree in Economics and Entrepreneurship from the Indiana University, US. Her proclivity towards fashion channelled her passion into a successful business venture with the launch of Anjali K designs in 2011 with an aim to design the entire gamut from prêt a porter to custom ethnic couture. Positive response and growing client demands laid the foundation for the launch of Anjali K Couture boutique in Dubai.
