If you thought hacking was illegal, meet ethical hacker, the 25-year-old Delhi-based Ankit Fadia,

who is the new face of Flying Machine Jeans in India. Fadia replaces filmstar Abhishek Bachchan and may be the harbinger of a new breed of geeky celebrities that resonate with the young and tech savvy generation Z.

Fadia has all the ingredients of a true blue celebrity. A professional hacker by trade, he authored his first book on ethical hacking when he was 14 years old and at 16, assisted the US government to decrypt emails of the September 11 terror attacks sent by the Al-Qaeda. He is close to signing another deal with a global IT brand in India, is in talks with a watch company for an endorsement deal and is expected to co-host MTVs What the Hack, a 52-episode show starting next month.

Flying Machine, a denim apparel brand from the house of Bangalore-based apparel major Arvind Mills, chose Fadia because they believe he fits in with the brands eclectic state of mind and youth focused positioning. Apart from commercials on TV, Fadia will be seen promoting and wearing Flying Machine the brand through events and seminars on ethical hacking in colleges across the country.
