Anupama Dayal, Masaba Gupta to open WIFW Spring/Summer

Designers Anupama Dayal and Masaba Gupta will

unveil their collections on the first day of the 22nd Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2014. The fashion extraveganza will be held from October 9 to 13, 2013 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

While AnupamaDayal is noted for her inspirations and eclectic designs, Masaba Gupta's label, House of Masaba, will once again delight fashion enthusiasts with its ingenious, bold prints sprinkled with an innovative graphic twist. Announcing the participation of the celebrated designers, Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI said, “We are delighted that two talented, young designers will be opening the latest season of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2014 with their innovative collection.”

Dayal expressed her excitement saying, she felt privileged to open a fashion week as prestigious as WIFW, thanking FDCI. “My collection is called Gulabi and I hope it will start the week on a fresh and energetic note,” she said.

Gupta said she felt honoured to be opening for FDCI at WIFW SS 2014 for House of Masaba. She is looking forward to showing her new line in the capital after a long gap.
