Arjun Rampal’s perfume launched

After nearly two years of negotiations, discussions, trials and delays, Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal’s

perfume has finally been introduced to the world. Rampal’s perfume, Alive, is produced by Drom Fragrances International, and will be available in two different fragrances. During the launch an ecstatic Rampal said “It’s not an easy business. I am involved in only on the creative side. If people like it, great and if they dislike it then I will go back and smell some coffee and bring some better cologne.”

The perfume line will be distributed by Baccarose, a distribution chain responsible for brands like Burberry, Cartier, Caroline Herrera, Azzaro, Elizabeth Arden, Ferrari and Prada. In the past, two other Bollywood celebrity perfumes -- Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan were launched. These were handpicked, manufactured and marketed by them.

Rampal took almost six months to select the fragrance of his choice for his perfume. And once he selected the two scents that would go into his perfume, he introduced them to his friends and colleagues from the industry.
