Arvind plans aggressive brand strategy

After acquiring India operations of three major international
apparel brands Debenhams, Next and Nautica, Arvind is all set to make it big in the organised apparel market. Arvind Lifestyle Brands, subsidiary of Arvind, which already has an impressive brand line-up comprising Tommy Hilfiger, US Polo Assn, Elle, Geoffrey Beene, Arrow among others, acquiring the business operations of Debenhams has also paved a way for it also paved for it into the department store segment.From mass to premium segments, Arvind is busy creating a unique position in every apparel category. Having presence in the mass sportswear segment with brands like Ruggers and Cherokee which it sells in Megamart, Arvind is also creating a foothold in premium segment with brands like Arrow Sport, Izod and USPA and Gant in the super premium segment, to which Nautica has been added.
Arvind has a strong presence in menswear and value retail. Over the last three years with a CAGR of 38 per cent, it is the fastest growing company in the apparel brands and retail space. And the new acquisitions will further boost its growth to make it a leading player in the brands and retail business.
