Arvind plans February launch for Elle

Arvind Brands will be adding another international brand Elle

to its existing portfolio by February 2012. Elle is the French word for she, it’s the world’s largest fashion magazine and few years ago it got extended to Elle’s style and beauty sensibilities -- a lifestyle brand. Keeping in step with rapidly changing fashion habits across the globe, Elle designer clothing is popular among women of all strata of society. From evening wear to lingerie to shoes and scarves, a wide array of Elle products are available. The clothing has red, white and blue-based colors, and the fabric is mostly cotton.

Arvind Brands, based in Bangalore, retails Arrow, Excalibur, Flying Machine, Ruf & Tuf and Newport as well as international brands such as IZOD, Gant and US Polo across India. In addition, its JV with VF Corporation includes portfolio of international brands such as Lee, Wrangler, Nautica, Jansport, Kipling, Hero by Wrangler and Lee Riders and Tommy Hilfiger. The group is also planning to bring US Polo women in February next year and is also increasingly focusing on fortifying the women’s wear range of its in-house brand Flying Machine.
