Arvind signs up Ignite Mudra

Ignite Mudra has won Arvind’s account for the fabric business. The account will be handled
out of Ignite Mudra’s Ahmedabad office and the company’s annual ad spend will be around Rs 15 to Rs 20 crores. Arvind’s fabric basket includes brands such as Tresca, Hatric and Arvind Denim Labs (ADL). In addition to handling the creative and strategy mandate for these brands, Ignite Mudra will also be responsible for managing the media planning and buying duties. Arvind is the flagship company of the Lalbhai Group and one of India’s largest integrated textile manufacturers and branded apparel retailers. Arvind has licensing relationships with international brands such as Arrow, Gant, Cherokee, USPA, Hart Schaffner Marx, Sansabelt, Pierre Cardin and a joint venture with VF Corporation which covers Lee, Wrangler, JanSport, Nautica, Kipling and Tommy Hilfiger. Additionally the company owns Indian brands such as Flying Machine, Newport, Excalibur, Ruf & Tuf and the retail chain Megamart.Ignite Mudra has a business size estimated at around Rs 10 crores. It has also won the creative mandate for the plush upcoming mall Phoenix Market City, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. Ignite Mudra was launched in 2009 by the Anil Ambani-controlled ad group and marketing communications network Mudra to cater to the brand building needs of entrepreneurs, nationally and internationally.
