Arvind ties up with Geoffrey Beene

Textile major Arvind has tied up with iconic New York-based designer brand Geoffrey Beene.

The initial term of the license agreement is up to 2021 with renewal options that would extend the term to 2031. Geoffrey Beene products would be available at Arvind’s retail format Megamart. These would include tailored clothes, shirts, sportswear (shirts, pants and sweaters), jeans, active wear, outerwear, innerwear, neckwear, footwear, belts, gloves, wallets etc.

Geoffrey Beene has licensed Arvind Retail to manufacture and market its men’s apparel and non apparel products. Geoffrey Beene, is one of New York's best known fashion designer, recognized for his artistic and technical skills and for creating simple, comfortable and dressy women's wear. He started the brand that bears his name in 1963 and soon made a name as an innovator in women's sportswear. Today, Geoffrey Beene LLC is a fashion empire comprising men's ready-to-wear, men's and women's accessories and fragrance.

For over four decades Arvind has been at the forefront of redefining the retail experiences in India. It has the country’s largest network of retail outlets addressing virtually every segment of the market. Megamart is the leader in value retail. It offers a unique retail experience, premium ambience and amazingly low prices.

With this agreement, Arvind has added another international brand to its licensing relationships. It has licenses for international brands like Gant, Arrow, Izod, Energie, US Polo Association, Mossimo and Cherokee in India.
