Ashish N Soni to close Wills Fashion Week '14

Returning to the WIFW after a long gap, Ashish N Soni will be

the grand finale designer at the upcoming Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2014. He would present a grand finale collection titled ‘La Dolce Vita’ inspired by Hollywood glamour interpreted through his signature understated style.

“It gives me tremendous pleasure to be chosen as the grand finale designer for the upcoming edition of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2014 and the collaboration with this event is extremely inspiring and is always a boost for any designer's creative juices. My collection is titled ‘La Dolce Vita’ and I will be creating a line of stylistic clothing with a glamorous edge for both men and women,” Soni opined through a media statement.

The five-day fashion extravaganza, which will be held from October 9 to 13 at Pragati Maidan, will see 113 designers showcasing their collections through runway and exhibition. “We are delighted that Ashish Soni is back after a hiatus to do the finale show at WIFW SS 2014. I have worked with him during his participation at the New York Fashion Week. His ‘less is more’ philosophy has made him a favourite among those who value minimalism, fit and superlative tailoring over bling,” added Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI, organisers of the fashion gala.
