Aviraté, the international high street fashion brand for women has brought on board,

JagdishChawla as the Global CEO and Rahul Gupta as COO of India operations. With 22 years of experience in fashion business, Chawla will be responsible for growth in revenue as well as moving the gross margin, whereas Gupta, a stalwart in retail industry with 14 years experience will be in charge of driving the top line, store profitability and creating the expansion strategies for Aviraté India.

Chawla has had a stint in Indonesia for seven years where he handled brands such as Rimo and Matahari as Vice President-private label business and General Manager merchandising–private label and direct purchase business respectively. He will play a key role in the end to end product development process from concept to in-store presentation as well as achieving significant targets for Aviraté.

Gupta, a graduate from NIFT, joined the retail industry during its formative years. With over 16 years of experience alongside leading retailer giants like Madura Garments, RPG Group, Landmark Group and Reliance Trends, Gupta has been instrumental in leading category management, planning and developing new business strategies for companies. His diversified experience in marketing, sales, operation, product and category gives him the edge and expertise to streamline the activities of the brand. He will be overseeing key functions such as sales forecasting, merchandising and product development for Aviraté.
