Bhartiya’s second quarter sales up 46.28 percent

Bhartiya International, the fashion and lifestyle house has

announced 46.28 percent increase in net sales at Rs 105.57 crores in Q2 of FY14 from Rs 72.17 crores in the same quarter last year. The company reported net profit at Rs 4.63 crores compared to Rs 3.87 crore in the same period last year, up 19.67 percent, whereas its EBIDTA stood at Rs 8.57 crore against Rs 6.81 crore, up 25.84 percent and basic EPS was at Rs 4.19 as against Rs. 3.50.

For the six months net sales were at Rs 173.42 crores compared to Rs 115.02 crores with a rise of 50.77 percent. Its net profit was at Rs 6.76 crore against Rs 5.56 crore with 21.47 percent rise. EBIDTA stood at Rs 13.64 crore v/s Rs 10.89 crore, up 25.27 percent, whereas basic EPS was at Rs 6.11 as against Rs 5.03.
