Bhashan, a T-shirt brand launched two months ago is trying to address social issues such

as child labour, education, corruption, terrorism, poverty, global warming, Indian economy and drugs through catchy taglines. The man behind the brand, Shanjan Kale says the idea is not to create something funny but a message that’s hard-hitting. The idea is to change the way citizens think about the country.

Bhashan, the brand of T-shirt, is named as a combination of his business partner Bhavesh Sanghavi and his own name. A part time corporate consultant Kale decided to “get the message across” through his business of T-shirts with taglines. They taglines are created by team of eight copywriters, who come up with messages. Designs are simple and sizes range from an XS to XL. The duo chose to send out their messages through T-shirts because they believe that it could reach a larger demographic. The collection will also be made available online by end of this month and the T-shirts would cost from Rs 300 and above.
