Delhi-based fashion and lifestyle retailer Biglife Ritu Wears is planning to

open 33 large format stores with an investment of Rs 230 crores. Their aim is to establish themselves as one of the leading fashion and lifestyle brands in the country with global values. The retail arm is now planning to introduce new retail concepts in the rapidly evolving retail landscape. Its primary base is north India but over the next four years its plan is to go pan-India and capture markets such as Indore, Jaipur and Bhopal. Ritu Wears stocks everything that a family needs under one roof including women’s wear, men’s wear, kids’ wear, home accessories and furnishings, toys, foot wear, eye wear, jewelry, personal care, luggage, time wear.

With a total retail space of around 2.75 lakh sq. ft. over 1,200 products and 1,000 brands across apparel and non-apparel categories in its portfolio, Biglife Ritu Wears is a name to reckon with. This is a Delhi-based fashion and lifestyle brand, has been in existence since 1965, and is an initiative of JDS Apparels. Ritu Wears was rebranded as Biglife Ritu Wears in October 2010. The reason for the change was that the chain felt customers were looking at it as a feminine store, while it wanted to be seen as a lifestyle department chain catering to men, women and children.
