Blue & Blues, an Italian leather brand would be expanding its presence to other Asian and Middle East

markets by the year 2015. The aim is to build a Rs 50 crores brand within the next one and a half year. The company also plans to open stores in Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai and Hyderabad within next year.

The brand was created by two Italian fashion visionaries - Francesco Lanzaratto and Fulvio Rovaris, but after the death of Lanzaratto, Kolkata-based leather goods exporting company, Unique International partnered with Rovaris to bring the brand to India.

Asia and the Middle East, the US and UK markets are on company’s priority list for expansion by 2015. Highlighting its campaigns like ‘coloured leather is all about coloured skin’, Blue & Blues has hired Ogilvy & Mather as their communication partner.

All Blue & Blues products are styled in Italy and its USP is the use of original leather in vibrant colours like red, orange, yellow , blue, pink, golden, silver among many others. The label is retailed through MBOs like Shoppers Stop, Landmark, Central, Lifestyle, Ritu Wears, Witco and in select boutique stores apart from exclusive stores in Kolkata and Gurgaon. The brand is retailed in Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Greece and Belgium too.
