Blues Clothing Company plans to form a business unit targeting airport retailing and is going

aggressive on this segment. The company, which is the exclusive franchisee for Italian brands such as Versace has already launched a standalone Versace store in Delhi’s new T3 terminal. The company is going aggressive on airport retailing and believes that this allows them a wider brand presence.

Blues plans to retail more luxury brands, including Cadini, Corneliani and Sisley, at airports and expects airport retail stores to contribute about 20 per cent of its total revenues in the next three years. The company has plans to launch 25 new multi-brand and standalone stores across the nation within this year. Promoted by Dinesh Sehgal, the company plans to double its revenue to Rs 200 crores by next year. It is also set to launch three Turkish apparel brands, Tween, ADV and Damat, by October, and plans to launch five stores each for the three brands.
