Italian menswear brand Boggi Milano, which has a 140 million euro turnover, will source garments

from Indian manufacturers for its global markets. It’s holding discussions with garment makers in Pondicherry, Tirupur and in north India for sourcing textile and leather garments. The brand came to India in 2008, joining hands with the DLF Group. Right now there are eight Boggi Milano outlets in India -- five in Delhi, and one each in Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore. DLF plans to take the number of stores to 35 in three years.

The plan is to go to cities like Pune, Hyderabad and Mumbai early next year. In Mumbai there will be two stores next year and in Chennai two more stores in two years. All stores will be company-owned. There will be outlets in Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad airports too. Boggi Milano customers are CEOs, entrepreneurs and top corporate executives aged 25 to 45. The premium menswear brand is targeting opening 35 outlets in India by 2015.
