Boggi-Milano’s first Mumbai store

Popular Italian menswear and lifestyle brand Boggi-Milano opened its first store at Infinity 2,

Malad, Mumbai. This is its ninth store in the country and the first in Mumbai. The stylish Italian menswear and lifestyle brand arrived in India two and a half years back in association with DLF Brands. Boggi-Milano holds a 30 per cent stake in the JV. Spread over 1,200 sq. ft., the new store has been done up with opulent and tasteful interiors and stocks almost Boggi-Milano’s entire range of formals, casuals, sportswear and accessories for men. Apart from Mumbai, the brand currently operates three stores in Delhi-NCR. Another five stores will come up this financial year between Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore. Eventually it plans to have 35 outlets in India by 2015. The brand expects a revenue of $50 million from the country by 2015 and hopes to make its business cash positive by 2012.

All their products are imported from the global facility in Italy. The brand targets those customers, who crave for Italian fabric and design and have the purchasing power. The 140 million euro Boggi-Milano operates in over a dozen countries and has around 80 exclusive outlets across the world. DLF brands is the retail and lifestyle division of DLF, a leading real estate developer in India and is known to have pioneered the retail revolution in the country through introduction of international standards and redefining shopping, recreation and leisure experiences through its world-class shopping centre developments.
