Bombay Store ties up with Magic Bus

The Bombay Store has signed up with Magic Bus to sell their
merchandise in its stores. Magic Bus is a non-profit organization and the 106-year-old The Bombay Store is India’s first listed retailer. Magic Bus reaches out to children living in some of the most marginalized circumstances in the world through sport. Since its inception, Magic Bus has reached out to 150,000 children and youth and by 2014 aims to make that one million. Participants become peer leaders and mentors for others and set up their own programs and carry the Magic Bus philosophy to new communities. The organization has won awards from the World Bank, United Nations.In 2008, Magic Bus started new interventions in three geographically diverse locations across the country: Delhi, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra. Based on the learning from the new interventions, Magic Bus has drawn up its growth plans. Over the next few years, the organization will open new state offices across the country, and use these offices to deliver urban and rural sport for development programs in four districts of one state.
