Bonjour plans capacity expansion

Even though Bonjour has been traditionally selling its brand through MBOs and large format

stores like Lifestyle and others, the company is now looking at opening its own exclusive stores. So far they have five exclusive stores in North India launched about three years back, and by the end of this year, it plans to add a few more stores in NCR.

The company has been witnessing a steady growth of 22-25 per cent and for 2013, it has set a target of achieving 40 per cent growth apart from increasing its manufacturing capacity by about 60 per cent this year. Bonjour also has plans to launch wellness-hosiery products. It’s looking at building a separate plant for processing and dying various yarns for this purpose.

The company’s product portfolio include: socks for men, women and kids of all age groups, stockings, tights for girls and handkerchief for men. The focus has always been on creating new products with latest technologies. The company has also taken up the license for Doraemon and will create Doraemon socks for a period of 4-5 years under the brand name Bonjour for kids.
